The college presents Speech and Language Therapists, assistants and students. The college works with unions, universities, government, charities and commissioning bodies. RCSLT promotes the care of individuals with communication and or eating and drinking difficulties. The college sets standards for the profession and promotes research.
Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice ASLTIP
ASLTIP supports therapists working independently within the UK. All its members are registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health & Care Professions Council. ASLTIP also provides a search engine for prospective therapists for families.
The Communication Trust
A group of non-profit organisations working together for children and young people with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). The organisation works with government and society to maximise the communication skills and outcomes of children/young people in England.

ICAN
Is a children’s communication charity. They aim to ensure children across the words have the communication skills they need to reach their potential. The offer practical supports for parents, work and train teachers and early years staff to deliver intervention programmes to support children with SLCN.
The National Autistic Society
Charity with over 50 years of experience supporting and advocating for people with Autism and their family. They provide services, offer training and work with employees, local authority and government to improve the lives of people with Autism.
Hanen
The Hanen centre is based in Candia and is a charitable organisation with a global reach. The organisation works with parents and professionals to maximise the communication skills of children. Including children with or at risk of language delays and those with developmental challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder.
